People get nervous about having more than one kiddo and how they will love the next one as much as the first....

I truly believe I love each one of them with my whole heart. I'm not sure how that is possible, but it is.

I go to bed at night and my heart literally aches when I think about how much I love them.

There are days that are harder than others and some days I want to get in the car, turn up the music, and just keep driving..... and I do sometimes! ha.

I only make it as far as Target though. :)

and I head straight to the kids section where I look at tiny clothes and think about my babies at home.

The ones I was driving to get away from

and then I miss them....

so I get in my car, turn up the music, and come home, to the best thing the good Lord has ever given me.
I love this post!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post Haley! I think it is my favorite post of yours. :o) Children are such a gift from God. We are so blessed. We may have to remind ourselves of that on days when were ready to pull our hair out huh? ha!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I feel the same way. I think my heart swells 3 times each morning when I start a new day with the girls. :) I feel like it I have any more children it will burst out of my chest.
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing when I need a break, and then I come running home just as fast as I went running to the car. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI could have wrote that same exact post!!! Kids can be so difficult sometimes and make you want to pull your hair out, but they are such a gift! Sometimes I wonder what I ever did with my time before I had kids. Love them to pieces!!
ReplyDeleteawww this post melts my heart and makes me miss my little guy. darn work has the way of getting in the way. i thought i was silly for thinking how can i possibly love a 2nd baby when i love my son so much. so i'm glad to hear that someone else has these thoughts too. thanks.
ReplyDeleteI so needed this post tonight. I had such a rought day with the girls today, but now that they're asleep, all I want to do is go snuggle them. Great post, Haley!
